anurag kashyap admitted in hospital

director anurag kashyap has been hospitalized after suffering from a serious throat infection.the director who is currently shooting dev d came back to india just a few days ago.after working overtime to finish the film he had paid for it when he came back to india.Dev D is Kashyap's modern day take on Sarat Chandra's classic novel Devdas. The novel has already been translated onto screen three times, the most recent being Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas with Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit in the lead. The character of Devdas is being played by Abhay Deol in Kashyap's film. Kashyap's last film, 'The Return Of Hanuman' and 'No Smoking' went down with a whimper at the box office. It remains to be seen if he can turn things around with Dev D.
